Brearley: The Kenilworth school has fallen just short of a group championship the past few years thanks to the likes of Long Branch and, when it was in Group 1, Paulsboro. Sophomore Dylan Oliva (103), third in District 11, senior Anthony Madonia (112), second in the district and fourth in Region 3, sophomore Anthony Rice (119), first in the district and fourth in the region, junior Nick Lospinoso (135),second in the district, senior Dan Ries (140), eighth in the state tournament at 140, senior Devin Geoghegan (145), second in the region, sophomore John Balboni (152), third in the region, senior Dillon Geoghegan (160), first in the district, junior Anthony Tancs (171), second in the district, and senior Greg Rice(215), fourth in the district, form an imposing group. Brearley has a new coach in Scot Weaver, formerly of Queen of Peace, who replaces Brian Luciani, who is now the Kenilwoth school’s athletic director.
